Beginner Art Lessons

Focusing on composition, color theory, and values, this class allows students to experiment with various medium techniques, including clay, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, and tempera. 60 minutes. Ages 4-6. THIS WEEK: Here at The Giggling Pig we aim to foster each child's unique style, so this week we will be focusing on YOU with self portraits. Students will broaden their concepts of value and light with graphite, focusing on various blending and drawing techniques to achieve different results with the same pencil. This monotone project will challenge students to look beyond color to capture their likeness with every stroke.
