Satisfy your curiosity, and experience a fun and thorough introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding project and casting will also included. Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel. Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation. Students will showcase their pieces in an art show to guests. Parents- Invite grandparents, friends and family. All pieces go home the last day of class. Such a fun way for students to share what they have learned through process and design. Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session, so sign-up for both June and July sessions. Our Last Class we will have student presentations the last 15 minutes of class. Please bring a bag and some towels, paper to wrap all of your treasures and take home.

Grab your backpack, bring a pineapple for the teacher's desk, and join us for Mermaid School! Here, kiddos will learn all the things they will need to explore the Ocean of Possibilities as merkids. This will happen at our smaller side studio located on 4207 24th street. This is a wonderful opportunity for our younger age friends to join a shorter camp day filled with magic! Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is 2pm. Please Note: -Your child must be 3.5 when the camp starts. No exceptions for younger friends. -Your child must be fully potty trained. This means they are able to use the larger toilet. -We do not offer naps. You are welcome to pick up during our lunch window from 12pm - 12:30 if your child still naps and needs to head home. -There is no final performance for these camps. These camps are all about pretend play centered in the theme of the week. -We do not take kids to the park, but we will spend time in the larger studio at the end of the day. -We do not offer after-care. For ages 5–11, this fun and supportive camp helps kids build confidence, creativity, and public speaking skills through improv games, storytelling, and role-play. School Skills is an independent drop-off program to build literacy, confidence and social skills needed for preschool, kindergarten and beyond. Children will be participating in tactile activities, story time discussions, music and movement, science experiments, constructing art projects and much much more! Purchase the corresponding pass or membership, THEN reserve your child's spot in the desired class(es) to be attended. You will then be emailed additional information and waivers to sign before your child can attend class.

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)
